How to replace files in Prince of Persia 2008

This quick and dirty example will tell you how to replace the subtitle files, but can be applied to other file types too.

- Force plugin type to Elika in the options tab (not necessary, but makes working with POP files easier)
- Open the archive file you want to edit (DataPC_lod.forge for the subtitle files)
- Select the file you want to edit by clicking the checkbox in front of it (LocalizationPackage_English)
- Right-click and choose extract
- Open the freshly extracted LocalzationPackage_English in the datafiles tab
- If you have selected "Autoconvert single datafiles" in the options tab, it will auto-convert the file for you. If not, select and extract the file as before.
- Edit the LocalizationPackage_English.txt that was extracted with a unicode enabled text editor (Editpad pro or the like) and make any modifications you want.
- When you're done, *click* the LocalizationPackage_English line in the datafile list (don't check the checkbox, just select the line so it becomes blue or whatever color you use), right-click it and select replace.
- Select the file you've just edited in the new dialog.
- *click* the LocalizationPackage_English line in the archive list (same as before), right-click it and select replace.
- Select LocalizationPackage_EnglishNEW in the new dialog.
- Go do something else for a while, this'll take some time ;)
- When it says it's done, close Maki, go to your POP dir, rename your old DataPC_lod.forge to something else (originallod or something) and rename the new DataPC_lodNEW.forge to DataPC_lod.forge.
- You should be done, test your modifications by starting Prince of Persia!
